Disposable plastic test strip that encloses microcapillary channels, measured prothrombin time is converted into INR, using lot specific calibration parameters, microprinted on the chip surface. INR determination is achieved through sample flow monitoring along with the microcapillary channels of the strip, then follows the activation of the coagulation cascade.
